Following another record-breaking year for entries in both the Bodyshop Awards 2024 and this year’s 30 Under 30: Rising Stars, the evaluation and assessment phase has begun.
All contestants in the 30 Under 30 in partnership with 3M have now been contacted and we will be reaching out to their nominators to gather further information to present to the judges when they meet in July to decide who will be named this year’s 30 outstanding young winners.
At the same time, the technicians, apprentices and VDAs in the technical categories are undertaking a series of randomly generated online quizzes ahead of the practical assessments over the next two months.
Entries hit new records across all competitions for the Powered by Vizion – Bodyshop Remit Panel and Paint Apprentices and Technicians of the Year, the Powered by asTech – Bodyshop Thatcham Advanced Technologies Technician of the Year, and the Powered by IAEA – Bodyshop Thatcham VDA of the Year.
Once the online testing is complete, the top four finishers in the apprentice and technician categories will advance to the practical hands-on assessments as outlined below. For the VDAs, there will be an extra step in the process which involves the top eight finishers being interviewed by the IAEA before four finalists advance to the hands-on assessments.
