Fix Auto backs World Mental Health Day
As part of Fix Auto UK’s on-going celebrations after securing its first 100 fully certified Mental Health First Aiders, the network is putting its full weight of support behind World Mental Health Day by adopting the ‘Tea & Talk’ initiative designed to encourage colleagues to take a break and simply chat.
Each of the 115 fully branded franchise partners has received a humble ‘shoe’ box containing mugs, tea bags, coffee sachets and a bundle of assorted chocolate to help ensure the initiative is celebrated by all.
Ian Pugh, managing director for Fix Auto UK, said: “For me, mental health is something that is for life, it’s easy to forget we spend a large percentage of our time in the workplace which is why this initiative is so important. The ‘Tea & Talk’ boxes are a gentle reminder to connect with your colleagues and what better way than to have brew.
“We are fully committed to supporting mental health initiatives within the network and we are extremely proud of our recent achievement in gaining 100, fully certified, Mental Health First Aiders, thanks to Carl Norton our region 1 & 2 regional business manager. For us, this isn’t something that we acknowledge just once a year, this is something that we’re continually driving.”
