Volvo adds additional training date
Volvo has made available a further date for its product technology update course.
The course covers repair methods, safety systems, windscreen and ADAS, bumper repairs, SRS and WHIPS systems, and hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
It is aimed at vehicle damage assessors, engineers and technicians from insurance companies, accident management companies, fleet providers, training colleges and non-approved bodyshops.
So far more than 600 delegates have benefitted from the course.
Engineer Tony Simpson said: “The course reaffirmed the importance that all industry personal at whatever level need to keep up to date with modern technology and the ever-changing advancement being made by motor manufacturers. The course was very rewarding and the level of detail was perfect, with training set at a pace which was just right for all delegates.
“It was great to see the level of commitment in the design of Volvo vehicles for the safety of passengers and all other road users, and the course highlighted and affirmed the crucial importance of vehicles being reinstated to pre-accident condition and specification.”
