TrustFord supports Prince of Wales Hospice
TrustFord has provided The Prince of Wales Hospice with a Ford Transit Courier for them to use for their important work for the next two years.
The funding of the van, worth £6,000, along with road tax, livery and servicing has been provided by the TrustFord Trust which stepped in when the charity reached out for help with their deliveries in the local area and beyond.
The Prince of Wales Hospice (PoWH) has been providing critical care and support to people with a life-limiting illness since 1989.
The loan of the van will enable the Hospice estates team to service their shops in a more efficient way, helping the charity continue its invaluable work in the community. The van will also form a vital part of the Hospice’s fundraising team and will be used to transport stock to and from fundraising events.
Matthew Kitson, general manager of TrustFord Castleford, said: “TrustFord are delighted to be able to help and give something back to the hospice which plays a vital role in our local community and we hope our support will go towards making a difference.”
Jill Kirkham, fundraising manager at The Prince of Wales Hospice said: “We are more than grateful for TrustFord’s support. Being able to use this van will help us with our shop maintenance and fundraising activities, which contribute to give our patients and their families the best care possible.”
