Motofix announces Spies Hecker partnership
Motofix has announced that all nine of its sites across the Home Counties and south west are adopting the Spies Hecker paint systems.
This includes its new prestige paint and body centre in Cirencester, due to open later this month.
Motofix expects using Spies Hecker systems will reduce energy usage in its spraybooths and therefore reduce its carbon footprint.
Richard Tutt, founder and chairman of Motofix, said: “We have been a Spies Hecker customer for more than 10 years and we have always been impressed by how comprehensive yet easy-to-use its paint systems are.
“The Speed-TEC range has completely transformed the entire bodyshop process, not only by shortening our repair processes but also by reducing our energy costs, and it still delivers the exceptional results our customers expect from us. And because we’re exclusively using Spies Hecker, it enables our 220-strong team to share best practice across all our sites, and by doing so continues to drive improved performance for the business as a whole.”
Julian Lambert, Axalta’s Strategic Account Specialist in the UK and Ireland, said: “We successfully switched all of Motofix’s sites to Spies Hecker with minimal interruption to their daily workflow. The fact they are already reaping the very tangible cost-savings benefits from using our innovative paint systems, demonstrates that working closely with your customers to help them run successful bodyshops, works. It’s a straight-forward ethos that Spies Hecker has always stood by.”
