Steve Hoe lands top BRIT role
Steve Hoe has replaced Christine Maskell as chair of BRIT (Body Repair Industry Trailblazer).
BRIT is the group formed by the merging of the AutoRaise and Collision Repair Sector Group to manage the five new apprenticeship standards: Paint; Panel; MET; Accident Repair; and Vehicle Damage Assessor.
Hoe, technical development and VM executive at AW Repair, said: “After working alongside Christine as vice chair over the past year, I was sad to see her step down. It was great working with Christine, and I thank her for the commitment and great work achieved to date.
“It is a real privilege for me to be announced as chair, working with an incredible group of people from across the industry, with a wealth of knowledge and experience with one common goal – managing and developing standards that are future proof ready for new talent joining our wonderful industry.”
The BRIT group has grown over the last 18 months and now comprises of 40 members from across the whole spectrum of the UK vehicle repair industry.
