Dealer demand enjoys November lift
Dealers across the UK have seen demand rally in November, with a 4.4% increase in enquiries and a 20% increase in sales against the same month last year.
The data from lead management experts at iTrackLEADS showed a sales pipeline that looks positive toward the end of the year, with a 16% increase in test drives. Meanwhile the supply issues that have plagued the industry in 2022 appear to be improving as handovers rose 46%.
Adrian Favill, director of iTrackLEADS, said: “It is heartening to see the data point toward a positive end to the year. The industry has faced tough headwinds, but dealers have become adept at navigating the challenges. They spend significant sums on marketing to bring customers to their door, and technology has an essential role in helping maximise every lead’s value.”
Meanwhile, the data also revealed that the chances of sales conversion rise by seven times if responses are received within 30 minutes.
Favill said, “Our data shows it is essential to respond to a lead quickly, with up to 78% of sales going to the dealer that responds to an enquiry first.”
