TrustFord drives to charity’s rescue
TrustFord has supported the Greenwich Mencap charity with the purchase of a new Ford Tourneo Connect.
Greenwich Mencap campaigns for people with a learning disability within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The council has withdrawn transport provision due to Covid-19, but TrustFord Edgeware stepped in to hand over the keys to a new vehicle.
Paco Rodriguez, general manager of TrustFord Edgware recently handed over the keys to Terri Looker, director of services, Mencap Greenwich.
Stuart Foulds, chairman and chief executive of TrustFord said: “At TrustFord, being a good corporate citizen is a natural part of how we do business. Greenwich Mencap does great work in assisting young people, adults and their families and I am extremely pleased to be able to support them continue their work.”
