Skills focus at British Motor Show
The British Motor Show in August will address the skills shortage by hosting the Automotive Careers Expo throughout the duration of the show.
The Careers Expo will aim to highlight the opportunities and benefits of working in the sector, and is inviting manufacturers, industry bodies, suppliers and retailers are invited to take part.
Schools and colleges will also be invited.
Andy Entwistle, CEO and show director, said: “The resilience and brilliance of the automotive industry has been tested more strongly than ever in recent times and as we emerge into a much brighter future later this year, keeping the best talent flowing into the sector will be a vital part of its regeneration. The Automotive Careers Expo will be a massive part of what is gearing up to be one of the biggest UK Motoring Events of 2021.”
The show runs from August 19-22 at Farnborough International, Hants.
