Shareholders agree FCA/PSA merger

The proposed merger of FCA and Groupe PSA has been overwhelmingly approved by shareholders.

More than 99% of shareholders voted in favour of forming a new single company which will be called Stellantis.

It will combine 14 brands with an annual global production of about eight million vehicles and revenues in excess of £150bn.

The merger is expected to be completed on 16 January.
