Online sales tipped to surge

Online vehicle sales are expected to grow by 500% in next five years.
According to automotive ecommerce firm drivvn, the growth will facilitated by retail networks delivering the entire sales process within a seamless omnichannel process.
Anu Shahi, head of engineering and architecture at drivvn, said: “The pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated the digital plans of OEMs and retailers, but this is just the beginning. In the next five years, it will become the norm to complete a transaction online with the physical network providing an enhanced customer experience in the sales process.”
Meanwhile, the company has doubled the size of its development team to fast-track digital tools to meet predicted demand.
