Nominations open for bodyshop Awards 2021
Nominations for the bodyshop Awards 2021 and 30 under 30: rising stars are now open.
Entries for awards initiatives can be submitted until 6 August 2021 and they must be completed using our online forms:
A major part of the bodyshop Awards continues to be the Powered by Vizion bodyshop Remit Technician and Apprentice Awards for experienced and trainee-level MET, panel and paint technicians. These will be scored using online testing and practical hands-on workshop assessments at the Remit Academy in Derby.
Among the other categories for which you can nominate yourself or put forward a colleague, peer or business include customer experience, VDA, vehicle manufacturer and educator, plus bodyshops of different types and sizes.
New this year will be the Insurer of the Year and New Technology Award categories which will be voted on by repairers.
And don’t forget to nominate your candidates for bodyshop magazine’s 30 under 30: rising stars in partnership with 3M – the awards initiative that recognises and rewards the brightest young achievers in collision repair.
To qualify for our 30 under 30, candidates must be 30 years old or younger as of 31 August 2021 and must work within the collision repair industry, though they can come from any sector and hold any position.
When nominations are received through the online system and have been collated, the candidate and/or nominator will be contacted and sent the relevant awards criteria and details document, which will then become a key part of the judging process.
This year’s 15-member panel of independent judges is scheduled to convene in September and the awards finalists and 30 under 30 winners will be announced later that month.
All the awards finalists and winners will be celebrated at the bodyshop Awards event on the 17 December 2021 at the ICC Wales. Thanks to all the bodyshop Awards 2021 partners, especially Axalta and 3M.
