Ezi decision to back apprentices

Ezi-Methods has stepped up its support of apprentices starting out on their career within the vehicle repair industry.

Coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week, Ezi-Methods, which provides technical information needed to undertake safe and efficient vehicle body repairs, has ensured all 62 VDA and multi-skilled apprentices within Gemini Accident Repair have full access to its repair methods database.

Following a recent workshop with Gemini’s 16 apprentice VDAs, Ezi-Methods ensured all had direct access to its online repair methods solution via their computer tablets. It is now rolling out this solution to the 46 multi skilled apprentices working across the company’s 29 repair centres.

Ben Cardy, commercial director and co-founder of Ezi-Methods, said: “We have had a close working relationship with Gemini since founding Ezi-Methods. Like so many of our customers, you really have to admire the company’s apprentice development programme, we are just ensuring those apprentices make full use of the Ezi-Methods’ solution and, crucially, that they know of the significance of adhering to repair methods when assessing or repairing damaged vehicles.”

“Of course, every Ezi-Methods customer can provide their apprentices with access to our online repair methods, all they have to do is contact our team.”

Dan Dillon, training co-ordinator for Gemini Accident Repairs, said: “Whether you’re assessing damage or actually carrying out repairs, following the correct procedures as laid out by Ezi-Methods is paramount. It’s something that has to be instilled in all apprentices and skilled workers at the earliest opportunity. This support from Ezi-Methods cannot be underestimated as part of the learning process.”
