Europcar enhances AFV range

Europcar Mobility Group UK has increased it electric and hybrid fleet across its Professional and Leisure service lines for both short and long-term hire.

It has announced it will introduce the Renault Zoe GT to it UK fleet in March, while the company is also adding a selection of plug-in hybrids, as well as mild hybrids, including the Ford Puma.

Ron Santiago, managing director, Europcar Mobility Group UK, said: “Europcar Mobility Group has a clearly stated mission to have more than a third of its fleet ‘green’ by the end of 2023 as part of its ‘One Sustainable Fleet’ programme. In the UK we have been working closely with our manufacturer partners to identify ways to help us achieve this goal.

“Last year we introduced the MG ZS electric car to our fleet. Now we’re delighted to add the zero emission Renault Zoe GT as well as the award-winning Ford Puma mild hybrids, all of which will help towards us reaching our ambitious targets of average CO2 reductions across our fleet.

“By bringing these new fully electric and mild hybrid models onto our fleet we believe we can help businesses and individuals reach their own sustainability goals in a cost-effective way.”
