CarComm Coachworks announces major expansion
Commercial vehicle repair specialists CarComm Coachworks has increased its internal workshop space by a third.
The expansion is the result of continued growth with both large and small fleet contracts, meaning the company outgrew its two Ashford units. It previously rented a few smaller units on the same road, but these were not joined up and when the unit next door became available the company was quick to act.
The expanded facilities now offer 55,000 sqft of workshop, which has opened up space for a brand new Stanner Quick jig for vans, alongside the existing HGV Josam Cab and Chassis Alignment Jig to be installed, allowing much needed extra space for all aspects of the commercial vehicle repair process.
The expansion has also given a much larger area to store new parts and keep a stock of the fast-moving parts.
CarComm Coachworks director Jason Mole said: “This is a big move for the company and shows our commitment to our clients. Our ethos centres on good quality workmanship and first-class service to help our clients get their commercial vehicles back on the road, where they belong. The new workshop has given us more space to do the work we are so proud to do, and we look forward to being able to repair more vehicles, in a much more efficient manner.”
