Ben develops new wellness platform
Past and present automotive industry workers will be given expert help to tackle everyday issues such as poor sleep, low mood and job worries through a digital platform specially developed to support automotive businesses across the UK.
Ben, the automotive charity, has teamed up with wellbeing data specialists, Wellonomics to provide a customised platform, scheduled for launch in early 2022, that will give businesses the tools to review their employees’ health and wellbeing through monthly online assessments.
The anonymised results will enable automotive businesses to identify areas where their team may be struggling so that they can better support their people – to help address employee absence and high attrition rates and at the same time helping improve the overall economic and emotional wellbeing of their company.
Through regular use of the platform, automotive businesses will gain ‘in the moment’ insight into the emotional temperature of their team and valuable performance data thanks to assessments across five key management areas.
The digital solution enables employees to confidentially assess their own health and wellbeing on a monthly basis– with instant access to tailored health and wellbeing content, provided by experts, to not only help to tackle any issues that they may be struggling with but also to assist general wellbeing.
Rachel Clift, Health & Wellbeing Director at Ben, said: “This specially-designed product is right at the cutting edge of care and will help us to reach even more people in our automotive community who need our support. Not only will we be able to provide tailored resources directly to those who are struggling, we can also support businesses in their quest to improve individual and management wellbeing in their workplaces.”
