Alton Cars partners with AkzoNobel
AkzoNobel has rolled-out its premium Sikkens Autowave 2.0 paint system for Alton Cars.
It installed its Colorbuild priming system, Autowave MM 2.0 basecoat, and Autoclear 2.0 clearcoat across Alton Cars’ network of 15 vehicle repair centres.
AkzoNobel’s technical team is also providing on-site training to ensure Alton Cars gets the highest level of performance from its new Sikkens paint system.
Barry Murray, regional sales manager for AkzoNobel’s Automotive and Speciality Coatings business, said: “The installation process was a real success and a testament to the capabilities of our technical team who delivered this in line with Covid safety guidelines. We look forward to building a long-term strategic partnership with Alton Cars and providing ongoing support to their network of repair centres.”
Graham Connell, group operations director at Alton Cars, said: “Switching to the Sikkens Autowave 2.0 system has enabled us to make significant time savings by reducing paint cycles and driving efficiencies.
“The roll-out across all our repair centres was swift and seamless, and the training provided second to none. We’re confident that our partnership with AkzoNobel will continue to help us increase performance across our network thanks to their outstanding level of product support.”
