VWCV offers payment break for repairs
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering a zero per cent finance option for van owners carrying out servicing and repairs.
This comes just days after VWCV announced new owners purchasing a van through Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Financial Services contract hire would have no upfront costs and no repayments for the first three months.
VWCV figures reveal more than £13.8m of identified “red work”, such as tyres, brakes and steering goes unrepaired every year as drivers struggle to foot the bill. Further, almost four million drivers say uncertainty about the cost of unexpected repairs during routine servicing puts them off getting their vehicle maintained regularly.
The new interest-free offer is available for loans up to £5,000 with payments spread over six months and the option of paying nothing on the day the repair is completed.
David Hanna, head of aftersales at VWCV, said: “Making remedial work more affordable by offering customers interest-free payment terms, means we can support owners in getting their van safely back on the road with all repair work completed.
