Tracker launches DIY telematics device

Tracker has introduced a new do-it-yourself telematics device, which enables drivers to install it themselves without the help of a professional.

This enables insurers to encourage responsible driving amongst policyholders and protect vehicles, while abiding by social distancing guidelines.

Mark Rose, managing director of Tracker said: “The introduction of SmartDriverClub’s self-install solution means that insurers can continue to offer new customers this peace of mind, without calling upon professional engineers to carry out the installation or flouting social distancing guidelines. And, given SDC’s streamlined onboarding process, it can take as little as two weeks to set new insurers up with a full-service offering, including data analytics, policy management and customer activation support.”
