Tracker broadens product range

Stolen vehicle recovery and technology expert Tracker is now offering an enhanced product range. This follows a strategic alliance with  parent company, CalAmp, which acquired the business last March.

Tracker has alsolaunched a new identity that mirrors the CalAmp brand, supported by a new website and customer collateral.

Mark Rose, managing director for Tracker said “By working with CalAmp and adopting its globally-scaled, cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) telematics platform, we have been able to introduce new and innovative connectivity solutions. These embrace driver behaviour data services and capabilities to support dealers beyond our unique stolen vehicle recovery (SVR) solutions for which we are well-known for our direct law enforcement integration. This lays the foundations for Tracker to become one of the leading suppliers of telematics data services in the UK to both the automotive and insurance markets.”

Tracker continues to boast a longstanding exclusive relationship with every UK police force, with its VHF SVR devices fitted on over 2,000 police vehicles. However, its new wider portfolio of dealer solutions, for example SmartDealer, will help dealers overcome regulatory challenges, such as Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements, manage inventory more efficiently and optimise aftersales growth.

Rose added: “Tracker’s renewed ambition provides an opportunity for dealerships to increase incremental revenues and customer retention by protecting stock and providing customers with true peace of mind. It can also reduce the heavy insurance premiums that dealerships face on demo stock, further helping them to protect their bottom line. Our exciting growth strategy will pay dividends not only for Tracker, but also our dealer customers.”
