‘The real heroes are NHS staff’
The team at Fix Auto Lichfield has been supporting the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic by repairing ambulances.
Eighteen ambulance vehicles have been repaired on site in April for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, with more critical repairs being carried out each day. Repairs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible, to ensure the ambulances are back on the road carrying out vital work within one day.
Fix Auto Lichfield’s Scott Farrington said: “We have been able to complete 18 ambulance repairs so far this month thanks to the incredible work of the team here at Fix Auto Lichfield. The real heroes are the NHS staff who are out there saving lives, but we are proud to be showing our appreciation and helping them to stay mobile during these challenging times.”
The team has also donated a van to help volunteers in the community. The van is being used for transporting food, donations and prescriptions to those in need in the local area.
