RWC broadens portfolio with new decal course

A new half-day training course has been introduced that will enable bodyshops, fleet operators and logistics companies to add a new revenue stream to their business.

Launched by Milton Keynes-based training provider RWC, the Vehicle Graphics Application Course will allow businesses to bring decal application in-house, thus benefiting directly from a new revenue source and indirectly from the cost and time savings of not having to outsource part of the job to a third party.

Rob Ward, RWC managing director, said: “We all appreciate how fine margins are at the moment; that’s not going to change any time soon. This course gives businesses the opportunity to increase income and decrease costs. The benefits for repairers with fleet contracts are obvious and ongoing, but I would expect every business to reap the rewards of being able to provide this service.”

The vehicle decal market has been growing exponentially for a decade but is expected to accelerate further following Covid-19 as industry consolidation gathers pace and the sole trader sector booms.

The courses, which cost £299 +VAT and will be available from June, can be delivered at the delegate’s place of work for greater convenience.
