Repair industry’s going gong crazy

Due to the coronavirus outbreak affecting every sector in collision repair, bodyshop magazine has decided to postpone the only independent industry awards until later in the year, with the new dates to be announced soon.

This also means that nominations will remain open for the time being for both the bodyshop Live! 2020 awards and 30 under 30: rising stars initiative, allowing more time for everyone across the industry to nominate themselves or submit the name of a peer, colleague or business using our online forms:

Thank you to all who have already submitted nominations so far, and there have been so many of you we’ve smashed all previous records in every category.

While we will keep an ever-vigilant eye on the rapidly evolving coronavirus outbreak, it is also likely that we will need to reschedule the practical assessments for the Powered by Vizion – bodyshop Remit Technician and Apprentice Awards and the VDA of the Year hands-on assessments at Thatcham Research.

However, we will keep you posted so check back regularly for the new dates.

Among the other categories for which we have received record numbers of nominations are Educator of the Year, Claims Service Provider, VM of the Year, Technology & Innovation, Customer Experience, Best Specialist Bodyshop, Best MSO Bodyshop, Best New Bodyshop, Best Independent Bodyshop, and Bodyshop Manager of the Year.

Also, we have so far received more than double the number of nominations compared to the first three years of the initiative in bodyshop magazine’s 30 under 30: rising stars in partnership with 3M.

As part of our open and transparent process for the industry’s only independent awards, below we can announce numbers 10-to-12 on our 15-member awards judging panel:
