Polestar UK celebrates first birthday
Polestar Automotive UK is today marking its first anniversary as part of the brand’s global research and development team.
Since launch last May is has more than doubled in size to 125 employees.
The UK team concentrates on body and trim, chassis, electrical integration and vehicle attributes, though Polestar Automotive UK also hosts a variety of manufacturing and purchasing staff besides its engineering specialists.
Ian Collins, responsible for research and development at Polestar UK, said: “I’m immensely proud of what the UK team has achieved over the last 12 months. Being part of a fast-moving organisation like Polestar brings many challenges, but helping to develop its future range is a dream come true. While our one year anniversary is important, and worth celebrating, it’s the future of this Swedish performance electric brand that is the most exciting.”
