Partner calls a ‘breath of fresh air’
Weekly calls enabling Connected Solutions (CS) Partners to share experience and provide business updates have been hailed as a “breath of fresh air”.
Hosted by Industry Insights, the calls were introduced in March when Prime Minister Boris Johnson introduced the first national lockdown. Now held fortnightly, they have kept Partners connected and business leaders informed to ensure the supply chain is fit and agile to deliver ‘business as usual.’
Partners have also benefited from wider market views provided by senior insurance figures from the likes of Admiral, Ageas, Aviva, AXA, LV, NFU, RSA, Tesco and Zurich, as well as industry leaders from AutoRaise, Trend Tracker and the NBRA.
Steve Thompson, director and Industry Insights, said: “The value contributed and gained from each Partner has been immense. To speak candidly about the impact of Covid-19 on your organisation, share up-to-the-minute KPIs, recommend best practice in employee wellbeing and remote IT solutions has truly put into practice what Connected Solutions is all about.
“Our guest insurers have been truly fantastic and have not only provided great insights and support via our sessions, but also their support of our Partners during an extremely challenging year.
“All of our Partners are very proud of our connected approach to working through the challenges of the pandemic together and this bodes incredibly well for our collective future and most importantly the way in which deliver service to our customers.”
Meanwhile, Ian Pugh, managing director of Fix Auto UK, said: “It has been of great reassurance for me and I am sure my colleagues to be able to discuss all the problems and scenarios we are all facing as senior individual across the Connected Solution platform.
“We are all working through this together and I think this time set a side each week has allowed us all to bounce off one another and maintain positivity and high energy in a time that could quite easily not happen.
“The call has been a breath of fresh air and although virtual activity is at an all-time high during the pandemic, the Industry Insights call is different.”
Darren Clark, commercial director UK, Advantage Parts, said: “It provides a great insight into other area of our business and a great barometer of how things are looking across the spectrum to help validate forecasting and re-forecasting too.”
Greg Stansfield, head of sales at Autoglass said: “It is helpful to engage with partners, both those in the same space and those looking after customers with different kinds of problems that need solving.”
