NBRA supports Teenage Cancer Trust

NBRA national business development director Michael Wicks has made an emotional plea to help raise funds to support young patients at the Teenage Cancer Trust UCLH.

He said: “This year, my family are celebrating the 10th anniversary since my son Andrew’s miraculous Stem Cell Transplant which saved his life from leukaemia and we are eternally grateful to the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward at University College London Hospital (UCLH) where Andrew received his transplant.

“Many of the teenagers on the ward today are stuck 24/7 in isolated rooms and, owing to the pandemic, can’t even see their loved ones or friends. I know first-hand how difficult and stressful this time is and call upon anyone who is willing and able to, to donate just a small amount of money to help make this time a little more bearable for these teenagers.”
