Motorpoint reopens Welsh branches

Motorpoint has reopened all of its branches in Wales today.

Motorpoint has been offering free home delivery across England, Scotland and Wales during the lockdown, as well as more recently, appointment-only contactless collections for customers prior to fully re-opening its branches in England at the start of June.

Mark Carpenter, chief executive officer of Motorpoint, said: “We’re delighted to fully open our doors to the public today in Wales following the First Minister’s announcement. We have been working hard behind the scenes in Newport and Swansea redesigning our processes in order to minimise contact and with it ensure customers and colleagues are Covid-19-secure at all times, so that we are in a position to welcome customers, old and new, back into our branches.”

As part of this safeguarding process customers will be able to test drive cars without someone from Motorpoint being present while all vehicle collections from Newport and Swansea will be completed in specially designated areas to guarantee social distancing at all times.
