Morelli adapts to keep supply chain moving
Morelli Group has announced that in response to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s coronavirus address on 24 March and “for the safety of customers and staff”, it will reduce its workforce to an absolute minimum at all sites from today.
“This will mean we can continue to run our businesses and continue to take orders and deliver to those of you who are working,” said Andrew Moring, marketing director of Morelli Group, which is one of the UK’s leading distributors of paint, tools and consumables for the collision repair industry.
“Many of our customers are working in the safety sector repairing emergency and NHS vehicles as well as essential home delivery vehicles, and these are the customers that need us most at the moment,” Moring said.
Customers wishing to pick-up supplies from Morelli Group can still do so, but they must first phone ahead to place an order and pay – if they don’t have a trade account – and arrange an appointment to collect. The order will then be picked and placed outside the premises for pick-up on arrival.
