Meet our first 30 under 30: rising stars 2020

bodyshop magazine is delighted to introduce the first group of winners from this year’s 30 under 30: rising stars awards.

The six talented youngsters you are about to read about embody what is best about collision repair and, like all 30 winners in this special bodyshop initiative, they represent the future of our industry.

Hannah Cooper | sales representative and safety leader | 3M

“Hannah has already started progressing through the company’s graduate fast-track programme and has been promoted to cover the busy M62 corridor. Hannah is now seen as our resident expert on all things H&S-related and regularly addresses large group business with advice and suggestions on staying compliant.”

Ian Dalgarno, sales manager, 3M UK

Lee Croft | senior training consultant | Autoflow

“Lee has made an outstanding contribution to training customers and developing our products since joining the company in 2018.”

Chris Yates, managing director, Autoflow

Michael Massey | Global Paint and Finish platform application engineer | 3M

“Mike joined us from the workshop floor as a fully trained and accredited painter. What sets him apart though is that he was a finalist in the WorldSkills UK competition. Mike has quickly become a major part of our team, his credentials as a technical expert really shine through when dealing with customers.”

Ian Dalgarno, sales manager, 3M UK

Matthew Tatford | product specialist (VISION) | OEC

“Matt has been a key member of the OEC team, implementing the UK’s market-leading parts procurement system.”

 – Chris Setz, director Collision Europe, OEC

Kieran Thomas | in-house motor engineer | AXA Insurance

Since joining AXA as a technical assistant in 2018, Kieran’s development into a full-time in-house engineer is great testament to his commitment and increasing technical competence, in addition to his enthusiasm to push himself to this point. I expect more of the same for Kieran through 2020 – his burning ambition is to take up the ATA VDA apprenticeship through AXA and Thatcham to achieve the VDA qualification.”

Scott Blackshaw, In-house Engineer, AXA Insurance

Faye Tindall | marketing specialist | Indasa Abrasives (UK)

“It was evident from the outset that Faye’s skillset was a perfect fit for the company’s ongoing expansion into the world of influential digital marketing and social media platforms. She brings a contagious enthusiasm to industry partners at both bodyshop and distribution level and has an extremely confident presence among established sales and technical colleagues within Indasa UK.”

Phill Blowers, commercial director, Indasa Abrasives (UK)
