Loyalty rewarded at RHCV

East Midlands-based Renault Trucks Dealer, RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) has rewarded 11 of its employees for achieving an impressive 270 years of service combined.

The Long Service Awards is a brand-new employee initiative launched by RHCV to recognise and thank staff for their hard work and commitment to the business over the years. Each of the employees were presented with a special trophy and £150 gift card at an event at RHCV’s head office site in Nottingham.

The longest serving member of staff to receive the recognition was Frank Rudkin, after having worked for more than 36 years at both the Nottingham and Leicester sites. He began working with RHCV in 1984 as a technician before taking on roles as shift supervisor, workshop controller and foreman.

Also taking home the trophy from Nottingham was breakdown technician Dave Davies, who was awarded for 32 years’ service, invoicing clerks, Matt Upton and Bryan Stanton both for 25 years, parts driver, Lisa Atkins for 20 years and MOT supervisor, Darren Webb for 20 years. In Leicester, workshop controller, Steve Gabe and senior technician, Rob Withnall were recognised for 25 years while senior technician, Nick Tubby and workshop controller, Jake Briggs, both based in Alfreton, were awarded for 23 years and 20 years respectively. Shaun Leon, based in Northampton, was celebrated for 20 years’ service.

Nigel Baxter, managing director at RHCV, said: “At RHCV, we recognise that our employees are pivotal to our growth and success and it is their hard work and dedication which has enabled us to always provide the highest level of service for customers.

“We are continually looking at new initiatives which nurture and reward our staff and these awards are paramount in saying thank you to those who have been part of the RHCV family for more than 20 years. As the business continues to thrive and expand, we look forward to presenting many more of these awards in years to come,” he said.
