Licence Bureau breaks five-million milestone

Licence Bureau has surpassed the five million Driver Licence check milestone – processing its latest million checks in record time.

The UK’s number one provider of Driver Licence validation services hit the four million mark only 14 months ago in September 2019. Its previous million checks had taken 20 months.

The achievement of hitting five million checks – six-months sooner than the previous million was bridged – is made even more remarkable off the backdrop of a heavily disrupted year due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier in the year Licence Bureau, which is part of TTC Group, heaped praise on the fleet sector for its unwavering focus on driver safety and compliance during the pandemic. This was reflected during the month of July which saw Licence Bureau break its own record for the number of licence checks carried out in a single month with some 85,000 checks complete.

Another significant breakthrough this year also saw Licence Bureau become the first driver licence checking provider to undertake 200,000 checks in a quarter.

Steve Pinchen, sales director, Licence Bureau, said: “Reaching such a milestone, and in record time, is a truly positive sign that fleet operators continue to embrace road safety by ensuring their drivers are compliant – even during such challenging times.

“The achievement is testament to the people, processes and systems we have in place that continue to develop year-on-year. The acquisition by TTC Group in March has not only served to strengthen all these areas but has really propelled us forward as an operation.”
