ITAS portal adds dedicated bodyshop page

ITAS has enhanced it bodyshop portal with the introduction of The Bodyshop Profile Page which aims to match approved repairers with insurers while also providing a comprehensive list of bodyshops still trading.

The Bodyshop Profile Page enables bodyshops to add all of their vehicle manufacturer approvals, including those approvals currently outside of ITAS platforms, which will then be replicated on to the newly released ITAS Insurer portal.

The page also allows bodyshops to mark themselves as open or closed and also to highlight their BS10125 approval status, which will support the industry during the coronavirus outbreak.

Tony Young, ITAS managing director, said: “The team’s focus at ITAS for the last six months has been the cross pollination of data between the ITAS systems, enabling live data links between insurers, vehicle manufacturers, bodyshops and retail centres. The Covid-19 situation has meant that the team has needed to work hard with regards to testing and linking the systems far quicker than anticipated, in order to support the industry with the ability to pass accurate information outside of spreadsheets that are out of date data immediately.

“The ITAS team has created a user video to support bodyshops with the systems and ITAS aims to continually make system improvements and advancements to help the bodyshops and industry during this testing time.”
