IBIS launches ‘Leading Lights’

The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) has introduced a new series of thought leadership webcasts designed to help steer the global collision repair community through the choppy waters of the coronavirus pandemic back to normality and economic recovery.

Each “Leading Lights” webcast will feature a luminary speaker who will tackle the issues, present solutions, and galvanise action around a topic or set of topics relevant to all sectors of our industry.

The first two Leading Lights are Frederik Bisbjerg, chief strategy and business acceleration officer at Noor Takaful, and Eric Devos, president at GiPA.

Insurance expert Bisbjerg discusses the impact the pandemic has had on insurance companies and bodyshops. He explores what is happening right now and the changes businesses need to make to survive the new reality.

Devos, meanwhile, looks at the effects and consequences of Covid-19 on the automotive aftermarket based on the output of GiPA’s surveys carried out on the automotive parc and aftermarket consumer behaviour.
