Honda pauses Swindon production
Honda has paused production at its Swindon plant because of a shortage of parts.
It blamed congestion at UK ports for the disruption to its ‘just in time’ supply chain.
In a statement Honda said: “The situation is currently being monitored with a view to restart production as soon as possible.”
Congestion has been building up at Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gatwick with companies increasing orders because of Covid-19 and Brexit.
