Groupe PSA adopts Audatex solution
Groupe PSA has introduced Audatex new Bodyshop Image Capture technology to its accident repair programme for Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles in the UK.
The solution allows technicians to remotely inspect vehicles before they are delivered to the repair site, speeding up both repair times and parts orders.
Audatex has been providing all bodyshop customers free access and usage of the solution from May 2020, while Groupe PSA has extended this free-of-charge period until the end of December.
Chris Downing, Groupe PSA’s UK head of operations for Distrigo, Trade and Bodyshop said: “2020 is going to be a challenging year for all, and now, more than ever, we need to put the health and safety of our team members and customers first and support our industry to get back on it’s feet. Many of our network are already using Bodyshop Image Capture and seeing the benefits, so we wanted to ensure all our customers have the tools they need to operate in a secure, socially responsible way.”
