Fix Auto launches network support

Fix Auto UK is providing every franchisee partner with free access to an online information portal to ensure strict Health and Safety measures and government guidelines in the fight against coronavirus are adhered to.

Safety 4 Bodyshops, a Health and Safety interactive management system developed specifically for vehicle repairers, has been made available to all 107 partners.

While its primary function is to help repairers meet strict Health and Safety legislation, franchisee partners now have direct access to the advice dedicated to Covid-19. This includes official government and NHS advice material as well as a Covid-19 exposure assessment, to help in the prevention of the virus.

Fix Auto UK has also put together a “Coronavirus Survival Guide” detailing the additional support it is providing and where to look for official guidance during this challenging time.

Fix Auto UK’s Ian Pugh said: “These are unprecedented times in which we all have to work together. I want to help and support our franchisee partners as much as possible as we have to maintain our high level of service across the whole business. Health and Safety has never been more important. Giving Safety 4 Bodyshops and all the information it provides to the network to assist them is just one of the support areas we have introduced in the last few days.

“It is important to remember Fix Auto UK is a group of repair centres working together. We have received positive feedback from our franchisee partners across the network who are all acting professionally and calmly. As a business, we have followed the government’s lead by instructing every Fix Auto UK team member to work from home, this reduces the exposure of our team to the virus and therefore hopefully ensures our team is still available to provide their expertise and support to the network,” he added.
