CS hosts first 2020 partners’ meeting
The first Connected Solutions (CS) partners meeting of 2020 was held last week, when collaboration and innovation were key points of discussion.
Leaders from the 20 CS partners heard a summary of 2019 – a record-breaking year for the motor claims supply chain eco-system business – before they shared their thoughts on plans for 2020, including insightful business updates from each of the market-leading businesses in attendance.
Steve Thompson, Industry Insights director, told partners of “significant growth” in CS partner value, up from £33m in 2017, and £55m in 2018, to £85m in 2019. He said there were 242,857 interactions last year, with the Industry Insights team alone attending some 380 insurer meetings on behalf of their CS supply chain partners.
Thompson said: “We remain resolute on our target to provide services for one in 10 motor claims by then end of 2020.”
He predicted reaching 11.4% of the market (number of claims) by the end of 2020.
