ACIS agrees new deal with Mazda

ACIS is revolutionising its services to all 106 approved Mazda bodyshops in the UK, after agreeing a new relationship with the vehicle manufacturer.

It is sending an introductory letter and glossy marketing collateral to each site, outlining the approach of added value services it can expect, after Mazda UK signed a new contract with ACIS as part of a shared auto paint distribution deal which guaranteed delivery of Akzo Nobel and BASF paint products and refinish products into the approved repairer network.

Damon Curtis, business development director for ACIS, said: “The ink may have dried on the formal agreement, but we wanted to get off the starting blocks straight away by introducing ourselves to the network so that they know that there is more to ACIS than supplying paint.

“Our approach and marketing collateral is impactful and eye-catching as an introduction – and it tells Mazda UK bodyshops exactly what to expect when our people come knocking on their door.

“This includes a full range of Mazda-approved paint and refinish products, inventory management systems and web-based ordering through ASCRIBE, our own web portal which saves an average 23% in costs per bodyshop.

“In addition, ACIS can deliver a full independent bodyshop profitability programme, as well as a tools and equipment register.”

David Elphick, parts and accessories sales manager for the Mazda UK network, said: “Some of the benefits to the network are already being experienced and I would recommend that the wider approved body repair network arrange a meeting to discuss and understand the high level of support on offer via the Mazda preferred supplier route.”
