Xtrac strengthens leadership team
Transmission technology specialist Xtrac has appointed Piet Daenen into a newly created position of chief operating officer (COO).
Daenen joins the company’s leadership team as a full member of the board to help manage growth not just in top-level professional motorsport around the world but also in the high-performance automotive sector, where it’s supplying premium and luxury carmakers with advanced transmission systems for hybrid and electric vehicles.
‘Piet joins Xtrac at exactly the right time in our 35th year,’ said chief executive Adrian Moore. ‘We are enjoying our highest ever sales revenue with record orders and many exciting new projects underway. We have over 360 highly skilled employees in the UK and the USA and, as we keep growing, we need an experienced COO of Piet’s calibre to champion the transformation of our business over the coming months and years. The appointment strengthens the existing operations team, bringing in additional skills, knowledge and experience to add to our leading technology business.’
Xtrac has established itself as a pivotal supplier to the high-performance automotive sector with its range of ILEV (integrated lightweight electric vehicle) transmissions and supply of sophisticated hybrid transmission solutions for the next generation of hypercars.
