UK’s most popular models revealed
A black Volkswagen Golf is the most popular car of 2019, according to analysis of more than 38 million views of online car ads.
The UK’s Most Popular Cars 2019 report was commissioned by Auto Trader, and combined data from ad views with a survey of more than 2,000 drivers.
It found that the VW Golf was the most popular model for a second year running, with 1,307,303 ad views. Ford Focus was second with 846,212 views, while Ford Fiesta attracted 721,306 online views.
Making up the top 10 are Land Rover Range Rover, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz A Class, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Volkswagen Polo and Mercedes-Benz C Class.
