TrustFord expands in Bristol

TrustFord has opened its new FordStore in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.

The new FordStore will employ 54 and occupies 5,500 square metres of additional space, with capacity to handle over 2,000 vehicles a year.

The Cribbs Causeway dealership represents an investment of £2.2m, and will see new immersive and interactive technology work in combination with local experts to offer the best possible experience for customers – whether they’re buying a new vehicle or coming in to get their existing one serviced.

In addition to technologies like TrustFord’s PowerWall – a large format display that lets customers visualise a car built to their custom specification in near-life size – this site will also offer innovations like TrustFord NOW, which allows customers to drive away selected new and used vehicles the very same day, and Service NOW, which guarantees vehicles are serviced in 60 minutes.

Stuart Foulds, chairman and chief executive officer of TrustFord, said, ‘Our new FordStore here at Cribbs Causeway comes as part of the significant investment we’re making across the TrustFord network. This opening is a key milestone for us, and gives us both the scale and resources to meet our customers’ needs today and, importantly, into the future.

‘I’m looking forward to seeing how these new state-of-the-art facilities will help colleagues here in Bristol to continue to drive the standard in customer care, delivering the best possible experience for our customers, and excellence in service that they are known for.’

Ian Tuttiett, general manager of TrustFord Cribbs Causeway said, ‘The new dealership is a great space for customers to come and browse the full range of Ford vehicles, including iconic classics such as the Mustang and RS Focus, which we have here at the extended Cribbs Causeway showroom.

With this expansion and the new facilities and services we are able to offer, we will be able to offer a better customer service to the Bristol area than ever before. I’m especially proud of colleagues who have worked hard to get the site ready to open and are so committed to providing the very highest levels of customer care.’

Elena Ford, chief customer experience officer of Ford said, ‘It has been my privilege to join the team at the Cribbs Causeway FordStore and celebrate the opening of the new, expanded site in Bristol.

At Ford, we are focused on creating and delivering a great experience for Ford customers around the world. The new facilities at Cribbs Causeway will now be able to offer customers access to our great Ford products and deliver the exceptional customer service that they expect.’
