Todd Engineering wins seven-figure contract
Todd Engineering is renewing its working relationship with C Waltons Ltd after securing it’s biggest ever contract.
C Walton has recently acquired a new site, RAF Wyton airfield, and will be converting this airfield to vehicle storage for cars manufactured in Europe. As such, it has commissioned 15 high performance Hercules Spraybooths and eight E6 plus Greentech Curing robots from Todd Engineering.
This will be Todd Engineering biggest job so far, totalling just over one million pounds.
The integration eight Greentech E6 robotized IR arches will provide ultra-fast curing times along with a greater throughput, efficiency and vast energy savings compared to conventional curing technologies.
Ian Strong, director of technical services and compliance at C Walton, said, ‘We use Robots for Drying because effectively we need speed of production. Production is geared around efficiency and that efficiency comes from using the best equipment, that’s why we Todd booths and the Greentech robots.’
