She’s ‘the beating heart of this organisation’
ACIS has promoted Michelle Giles to the key role of office manager to oversee continued growth.
She retains her role as PA to chief executive Graham O’Neill. But Michelle’s new position will see her oversee the day to day running of the three businesses – ACIS Ltd, ACIS Distribution Services Ltd and CRS Ltd, the group’s procurement business.
The role includes managing the administration team and the central billing function, which consolidates the invoicing across the group and its eight shareholder member companies that represent the ACIS brands at a regional level.
Michelle said, ‘I’ve always worked as PA to the chief executive, but my day-to-day responsibilities have changed and developed over the years as the business has grown. I now work in a central role to make sure we function as one team, which involves knowledge and experience-sharing in terms of the latest developments. These include the growth and the evolution of the central billing function.
‘I also attend industry functions and customer events which help me establish relationships with customers and suppliers.’
Graham O’Neill said, ‘Michelle is the beating heart of this organisation
– she runs the all-important administrative function and answers directly to me on the day-to-day performance of the business. This promotion underlines the crucial role she plays as ACIS continues to grow.’
