Repairer taps into Premier League appeal
Repairers are often accused of not marketing themselves enough, but Staffordshire-based M&M Group has shown it does recognise the value of brand awareness by tapping into the widespread appeal of a Premier League football club.
It has partnered with the Stoke City Associate Partner Programme with the aim of continuing awareness of their presence in the local and regional communities.
M&M group’s business development manager, Angela Henry said, ‘We carry the backing and approval from many insurers and in addition to this, also have over 13 manufacturer approvals. Our business is split from that which comes directly from our insurer/manufacturer approvals and that which comes from our local connections and business partners. It’s so important to keep the brand awareness alive and continually engage and connect with the local community and surrounding areas.
‘We are very proud of our business and our continual investment in people, training, technology and equipment, throughout all areas of the business, enables us to be the best we can be and provide peace of mind in the assurance that we are experts in our field and become the customer choice.’
M&M Group will now be connecting directly with the Stoke City fanbase following their partnership with the club’s associate programme. The Stoke City Associate Programme has been constructed and is managed by sports partnership specialists Eleven Sports Media, with a range of digital fan engagement opportunities at bet365 Stadium and on the club’s official social media channels.
As a Stoke City Associate Programme Partner, M&M Group see their brand achieve significant exposure on the pitchside LED perimeter advertising, and also feature on Eleven’s proprietary fan engagement platforms, StadiumTV and StatTV in corporate hospitality and concourse areas. M&M Group also enjoy their brand featuring on the club’s official social media channels with live match statistics appearing in the build-up and during games.
Angela continued, ‘It’s all about continuity, you can sit back on your laurels and think everybody knows us, but we all know how quickly things move, especially in today’s world of technology.
‘For us personally the Stoke City Associate Programme has been very cost effective, for the value of it, over the three years, between the three businesses, it is a high profile and visual way that blends everything together.
‘I speak to a lot of local businesses and organisations and many of them and their customers go to Stoke City whether it’s as season ticket holders or for corporate events or even one off visits and these are the people we want to get in front and because it’s constant the awareness is created without even realising. So when we make contact with a new customer our name and brand is already familiar to them and that is what we are after.’
