PPG offers ‘higher efficiency, quality, productivity’

PPG has introduced a new paint mixing solution that it claims will revolutionise bodyshops by enabling them to generate value from colour mixing.

Called, Moonwalk, the proprietary technology has been developed after an extensive three-year development cycle involving research and development engineers, field technicians and pilot customers.

Designed to fit all mixing rooms, PPG claims Moonwalk will reduce product waste, save productive labour time and transform the mixing room into a cleaner, safer and more attractive environment.

Further, paint consumption is optimised thanks to its drop-free, colour-accurate and highly precise ready-to-spray dispensing solution. This will enable paint technicians and bodyshop managers to benefit from the extreme accuracy coming from the automation of the mixing process, improving speed, quality and colour consistency.

The Moonwalk pack also includes a Touchmix Express large touchscreen computer with intuitive smart on-board software and PPG’s latest Paintmanager XI colour management software; an ultra-accurate two-digit scale and a label printer; as well as installation, training and three years warranty on the mixing machine and assistance service, with the option to extend to five years.
