PPG names new commercial transport manager
PPG Refinish UK has promoted Lee Stevens to the newly created role of commercial transport (CT) sales manager.
In his new role, Lee will be working for parent company PPG with overall responsibility for sales teams across the UK and Ireland working on the commercial transport refinish offering. Lee’s primary objective is to maintain and develop strong customer relationships across PPG’s commercial transport segment.
Lee said, ‘As with most markets, commercial transport is highly cost-driven, but price per litre isn’t the whole story – my role is to ensure that our whole team is communicating the efficiency of our products and the benefits they bring to the CT marketplace.’
Mark Clarke, national sales manager, added, ‘We’re delighted that Lee is now applying his extensive sales and business process experience to Commercial Transport. It’s great that we can continue to provide challenges through new roles to ensure that we retain the best talent within the group, and our range of business units allows us to do just that.’
