Phil Brailey calls time on illustrious career
Phil Brailey, global account manager at Solera, has retired after eight years.
He has enjoyed a highly successful and varied career in the vehicle repair and claims industry, and Solera, a global leader in risk and asset management data and software as a service (SaaS) solutions for the automotive and insurance industries.
Phil has worked in the bodyshop and related industries his entire working life, starting his career in 1968 in a small vehicle repair shop in Cardiff. He then worked his way up, joining Allianz (Cornhill then) in 1999, where he ultimately took on a global, corporate-level role. He then joined Solera in 2012, where he has worked on a number of corporate projects, and subsequently held several roles in the Global Account Management team.
One of the many highlights of Phil’s career has been playing a part in Solera’s growth over the past eight years. He has seen the industry become increasingly digitised and the value this has added to all stakeholders. He has particularly enjoyed the experience of being able to work across 60 countries. He applauds the culture and working practices at Solera and thanks the company for everything he has learned during his time with them. He has thoroughly enjoyed the journey he and the company have been on in bringing value to its customers.
David Shepherd, regional managing director, EMEA 1, Audatex, said, ‘It has been a pleasure working with Phil for the past eight years. He has been an instrumental part of growing the business since he joined Solera, and has successfully managed accounts across the globe. Everyone at Solera wishes him the best of luck with his retirement.’
