Perfect 10 for Kettering

Fix Auto Kettering has celebrated its 10-year anniversary with the Fix Auto UK network.

To celebrate the milestone, Fix Auto UK’s Ian Pugh visited to the site to present a commemorative plaque to co-owner Kevin Brigstock.

Kevin and his business partner Dave Thompson joined the network in April 2009, however shortly after taking over the Northamptonshire business they found themselves entering into a Company Voluntary Arrangement to avoid liquidation.

With the help and guidance of Fix Auto UK, along with the commitment and support of their employees, the repair centre has transformed into a successful award-winning business.

Kevin said, ‘I can honestly say, if it were not Fix Auto UK, we would not be here today. When we took over the business it was evident a serious amount of investment was needed in order to progress. We quickly found ourselves in trouble but we believed in the business and had a great the team around us. We also received an incredible amount of support and guidance from Fix Auto UK. Dave Owen in particular, who was the Regional Operations Manager at the time worked closely with us to help turn the business around.’

Ian said, ‘Fix Auto Kettering’s story shows just what being part of the network is all about. It is a business that wouldn’t be here today had they not been part of the Fix Auto UK family. Together we have worked hard to get to this point and I am delighted to be able to celebrate the 10th anniversary with Kevin and the team.’
