Outsorc and OAG to merge

Outsorc and Oxford Automotive Group have announced they are merging on 20 September to form a global aftermarket-focused company.

Trading under the Outsorc brand name, the new business will combine
OAGs specialist knowledge in total loss avoidance and bodyshop auditing with Outsorc’s award-winning development and management of branded after-market programmes.

With a continued focus on aftermarket support service requirements of automotive manufacturers, it boasts a strong client portfolio that includes Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Nissan, Mazda, KIA, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover and BASF; and currently manages branded support service programmes in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Mike Yorke will continue as managing director with OAG directors, Keith Ruggles and Adrian Serjeant, taking senior management positions.

Mike said, ‘This is a great strategic opportunity for both companies.  After working closely together for a number of years and sharing knowledge, skills and research and development to the benefit of our respective clients, it makes perfect sense to merge into a single company. It also helps that our personal friendships go back over twenty-years and we share a passion for helping our clients over-achieve.’

Keith and Adrian added, ‘Creating a bigger, stronger company through our merger provides clients with industry-leading expertise. We’re thrilled at the prospect of driving Outsorc forward with the introduction of new services, moving into new areas and providing new industry-leading tools. We’re confident the merger will prove to be an overwhelming success.’
