NARS adds Sheffield site

Nationwide Accident Repair Service has opened the doors to a new rapid repair centre in Sheffield.

The site, which is Nationwide’s 24th rapid repair centre, further extends its model in the central region. This model allows the independent bodyshop group to deliver a five-day key to key to customers for suitable repairs identified by its Pathfinder triage software.

The purpose-built Sheffield site, which will be managed by Ryan Foulston, consists of a top-of-the-range spraybooth, nine bays and a large reception area.

Keiran Perks, regional operations manager, has worked closely with the team in the build-up to opening the new site. He said, ‘We’ve built a team at Sheffield Rapid Repair which is tailored to suit the needs of our customers and for us as business. With a team of experienced, multi-skilled technicians we can offer a seamless repair process. We have a lot of experience in opening and operating these sites now.

‘We decided to open this site to accommodate our partnering branch in Sheffield. It was ideal with the amount of volume we have deployed into that site that we opened a rapid facility within the area to speed up the repair journey for our customers.

‘We’ve gone for state-of-the-art equipment in that we’re now using electrical palm sanders and no more pneumatic tools. I’m really proud of what we’ve created here as a team and excited about where we’re going to take this in the future.’
